MUSM4008	Composition: Final Work
	A one-hour seminar per week in Semester 2.
Prerequisite	Satisfactory completion of the third year of the Composition major.
Aim	To gain experience in the preparation and presentation of a performance consisting entirely of the student's own work(s).
Content	During the first semester of the final year of study, the Composition Major will submit a project for a major work to be composed and presented at the end of Semester 2 of that same year. The project must be approved by the Head of Department as well as the Director of the School of Music.
Assessment	The major work, together with other pieces by the student, will constitute the Graduation Recital of the student and will be assessed accordingly.
